When you have pain, discomfort or stress there is usually something that can be done about it – if your willing? Let’s think about common types of pain or discomfort: the discomfort (and sometimes pain) of doing stuff; and injury. Doing stuff: That could be exercise or activities that push your body that result in Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness or DOMS. This is generally starts 24 – 48 hours after the activity and is a ache, stiffness or sometimes painful. DOMS is a good thing f not too severe and may last a day to a few days. The key point here is to be aware of the difference between DOMS and injury.
